Therapy for the ADHD Woman by the ADHD Woman

ADHD IS MISUNDERSTOOD AND HARD TO PUT INTO WORDS. AS A THERAPIST WITH AN ADHD DIAGNOSIS I KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO FEEL THIS WAY. BUT THERE IS A WAY OUT.

DID YOU KNOW?

Most women with ADHD don't get an accurate diagnosis until their late 30s or early 40s.

Researchers found that 23.5% of women with ADHD have attempted suicide compared to 3.3% of women without ADHD.

Women with ADHD often develop coping strategies that can mask or mitigate the severity of their ADHD symptoms.

50 percent of women with ADHD also suffer from one or more additional conditions, referred to as a comorbidities.

We may not be responsible for the world that created our minds, but we can take responsibility for the mind with which we create our world.
